Condition Report

A mixed selection of silver to include an Edwardian silver bud vase, the circular loaded base with fluted stem rising to the flared and scalloped lip, hallmarked Charles Westwood & Sons, Birmingham 1904, maximum height measures 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm), an Edwardian silver footed bowl of circular form rising to pierced and applied high shaped rim with trailing garlands, hallmarked Birmingham 1921, a cut-glass vanity jar and box having silver mounted covers hallmarked Birmingham 1904 and 1906, a silver mounted travelling pocket watch case, a set of six teaspoons, a pair of napkin rings, a vesta case, a small circular pill box, etc. Together with a varied selection of silver plated and pewter items to include a three piece tea service, a planished cream jug and sugar bowl, a quantity of spoons and flatware, etc. Gross weighable silver 13.92 ozt (433 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot is in a mixed varied state, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Small dent and split to the lip of the vase running parallel down a corner fluted line causing slight distortion to shape. The cut-glass jar and box have vacant cartouches, major crack and chips to the box with noticeable signs of repair. Loss of definition to the embossing on the pocket watch case, clasp not fully functioning, loose easel support, split to backing. Dwarf candlesticks loaded and marked 'SVT 830 S', teaspoon with shell bowl & rose terminal marked '800'. Napkin rings have engraved initials of 'A' & 'J'. Small chip to the bowl of one teaspoon from the set. Vesta case engraved with 'J.D.' Pill box has a vacant cartouche with remnants of polish. Button hook has a steel hook. Some slight rubbing to hallmarks but still clear and legible.
