A selection of Edwardian and later silver mounted photograph frames.

Condition Report

An Edwardian silver mounted photograph frame, of plain circular form having date engraving, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons, London 1907, outer diameter measures 3 6/8 inches (9.5 cm). Together with a similar smaller silver mounted photograph frame, E Mander & Son, Birmingham 1901, 2 5/6 inches (6.75 cm), another of rectangular form having beaded borders, G & C Ltd., Birmingham 1918, height 6 4/8 inches (16.5 cm), a further silver mount for a photograph frame, Birmingham 1931, plus another photograph frame having enamelled decoration for the R.M.S Dunluce Castle. Purchasing information
    Overall the lot appears in poor condition with some items at fault or incomplete. All items displaying heavy wear and knocks to silver mounts, with wear and damage to backings. Smaller circular example detached from mount. One example comprises silver mount only. Enamelled example unmarked. Hallmarks throughout are slightly worn but still legible.
