Condition Report
A late Victorian silver christening mug of plain form having bright-cut decoration of a bird perched upon a branch, hallmarked Walker & Hall (John Edward Bingham), Sheffield 1887, height measures 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm). Together with another silver christening mug having textured leaf decoration framing engraved initials and date, Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1899, plus another later example having bright-cut floral sprays framing a vacant shield cartouche, Joseph Gloster Ltd., Birmingham 1946. Gross weight 8.9 ozt (276.8 grams).

The lot appears in overall fair condition with all examples displaying general light tarnishing and rubbing. Hallmarks are rubbed throughout but legible.
