A set of sapphire, diamond and South Sea cultured pearl jewellery. The pendant designed as a rectangular sapphire, within a brilliant-cut diamond openwork panel with removable brilliant-cut diamond and South Sea cultured pearl drop, together with matching earrings, with separate convertible brilliant-cut diamond ear-stud surmounts. Estimated total diamond weight 6-6.50cts. Length of panel 2.7cms. Length of drops 3.7cms. Total weight 52.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Sapphires vary in tone and saturation.
- Rectangular sapphires are a patchy light to medium blue, with fair to low saturation, and fair clarity with typical inclusions, showing straight and angular colour zoning.
- Marquise-shape sapphires have a medium to dark blue hue, with fairly strong to strong saturation and typical light coloured inclusions visible easily under magnification.
- South-Sea cultured pearls vary slightly in shape and size with near spherical and near oval shapes.
- South-Sea cultured pearls white to very slightly creamy-white, with rose and slight green overtones and good to fairly good lustre. Each shows typical blemishes and blisters easily seen to the surface with the naked eye.
- Diamonds mostly well matched.
- Diamonds bright.
- Diamonds vary slightly in clarity, most diamonds show no obvious inclusions under magnification, a few show some light and dark inclusions under magnification.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
