Condition Report

A mid 20th century gold, emerald and diamond dress ring. The rectangular-shape emerald, within a single-cut diamond stylised leaf surround. Estimated total diamond weight 1.30cts. Ring size K. Weight 12.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Emerald medium green, fairly well saturated, with poor clarity and typical inclusions, significant central surface reaching inclusion to the emerald, possibly effecting the durability of the stone.

  • Stone in poor condition with abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges and surface reaching inclusion.

  • Sizing aid to back of band. Ring size with sizing aid.
