A late Victorian gold hardstone letter 'M' brooch, circa 1880. Of bi-colour design, the hardstone letter 'M', with floral and foliate sides. Length 5.9cms. Weight 10.9gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Areas of discolouration to the side detail and bar.
- Damage to the hollow sphere at the terminal of the Letter, there is a hole and the sphere appears flattened.
- Surface reaching inclusions and chips visible to the hardstone panels.
- The back is slightly bent.
