Condition Report

A mid 20th century diamond and synthetic ruby watch brooch. Designed as a stylised eye, the central circular-shape cream dial with baton markers, within an old-cut diamond openwork surround, with synthetic ruby highlight. Estimated total diamond weight 2.80cts, I-J colour, SI-P1 clarity. Length 5.5cms. Weight 13.7gms.

    • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
    • Diamond fairly well matched.

    • Ruby is a reddish pink well saturated, with typical inclusions.

      Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
