A German silver tea caddy, of square form having a removable cover and the whole decorated with raised scrollwork and flower-heads. Pseudo-Hanau marks beneath including three-lobed flower, crowned N plus another indistinct. Height measures 4 4/8 inches (11.5 cm), weight 8.93 ozt (277.9 grams).

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Minor dints and bumps. Rubbing with a little loss of definition to the decoration. Lid doesn't sit 100% flush. Wobbles slightly. French Swan export marks present. Hanau marks somewhat rubbed.
