An 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. The pear-shape ruby, with brilliant-cut diamond surround and shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Hallmarks for Edinburgh. Ring size O. Weight 3gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Ruby cloudy whitish red, fairly well saturated, with profuse inclusion which significantly affect the passage of light through the stone, some inclusions are surface reaching and may result in future durability issues.

  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Small light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen to most diamonds fairly easily under magnification.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
