A pair of late 19th century gold turquoise and enamel earrings.

Description

Condition Report

A pair of late 19th century gold turquoise and enamel earrings. Each designed as a bar fringe, suspended from a circular turquoise cabochon and black enamel highlight oval panel and geometric surmount. Replacement clip fittings. Austrian marks. Length 5cms. Weight 11.1gms.

Purchasing information

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Replacement fittings, possible further conversions.


  • Enamel with minor abrasion, possible replacement.

  • Turquoise are a fairly well matched medium slightly greenish blue through bluish green, mottled colour with matrix veining.


  • Hinged fittings for non-pierced ears.
