An Edwardian 9ct gold ruby and diamond hinged bangle. The circular-shape ruby and diamond points, within a scroll and sphere surround, to the circular-shape ruby and rope-twist sides and plain half-bangle. Hallmarks for Chester, 1909. Inner diameter 5.2cms. Weight 12.6gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to poor. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Several significant dents to the bangle.
- Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Chips visible to one of the rose-cut diamonds.
- Rubies medium pinkish red, with a good saturation of colour and fair clarity, some inclusions easily visible with magnification.
- Stones in fair condition with some visible surface abrasion.
- Inner personal engraving reads 'from dad to Ada on her 21st birthday Dec 31st. 1910'
