ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster wrist watch. Circa 1946. Stainless steel case. Reference 4499, serial 421676. Signed manual wind movement. Discoloured silvered dial with alternating Arabic numeral and arrowhead hour markers. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 34mm.

Purchasing information- Movement is currently functioning.
- Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
- Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Dial has discolouration and tarnishing especially to the bottom half of the dial, spots are present over the surface.
- Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
- Glass has scratches and marks.
- Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Visible solder repair to caseback, especially visible to the inside caseback.
- Crown screws down and has light scratches and marking.
- Strap shows marks and creasing.
- Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
This lot does not come with box or papers, but does include paperwork relating to a service dated 18.08.2016, a non-branded pouch and a plastic folder.
