Condition Report

An Edwardian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond three stone ring. The oval-shape sapphire, with old-cut diamond sides and tapered shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct, H-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1901. Ring size M. Weight 2.7gms.

Purchasing information

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Light and dark scattered inclusions visible to the one diamond easily visible with the unaided eye

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Sapphire medium blue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, some visible with the unaided eye.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
