Condition Report

A late Victorian gold garnet cross pendant. Comprising a series of circular garnet cabochons. One garnet cracked. Length 6.5cms. Weight 15.4gms.

Purchasing information

  • Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.



  • Surmount loops base metal, believed later replacements.

  • Garnets are a well matched deep very slightly purplish red hue.

  • Garnets have surface reaching inclusions and moderate abrasion. One garnet is cracked along it's length.


  • Stated length includes base metal surmount loops, length excluding these 5.3cms.
