Condition Report
An emerald and diamond brooch. Of openwork design, the pear-shape emerald and circular-cut diamond scalloped cluster, within a vari-cut diamond foliate heart surround. Estimated dimensions of emerald 12 by 8.4 by 4.5mms. Estimated total diamond weight 2cts. Length 3.6cms. Weight 11.1gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Central cluster possible replacement/re-set.
- Brooch fittings are later.
- Small hook fitting for detachable surmount (not present) and small vacant parts to the sides.
- Some leaves appear re-set, slight discolouration/soft solder.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Two with small chips.
- Emerald is a medium slightly bluish green hue. Large window to the centre of the gem. Typical inclusions. Small nick.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
