Condition Report

A large mid-Victorian silver trophy, having a galloping horse finial to the stepped cover over the campana bowl with twin acanthus capped scrolled handles and raised upon a knopped pedestal and stepped circular foot, the whole decorated with stiff leaf, floral garland and floral pendant drop borders, with further presentation engravings to the bowl. Hallmarked George Unite & Sons, Birmingham 1864. Overall height 17 6/8 inches (45 cm), weight 48.84 ozt (1519.1 grams). 'North Warwickshire Hunt Cup, Won by Mr. C H Anton's Snowdrop. April 25th 1873.'
