A late Victorian silver desk inkwell.

Condition Report

A late Victorian silver desk inkwell, the oblong form with scalloped outline, standing on four bun feet and supporting two glass inkwells, pen recess and scroll handle. The base hallmarked Sheffield 1900, maker's mark indistinct, the inkwells hallmarked Birmingham 1900 with the maker's mark HM. Maximum width of the base measuring 8 7/8 inches (22.5 cm), gross weighable silver 12 ozt (376 grams).
