Condition Report

Five pairs of gem-set earrings. To include a 9ct gold pair of ruby and diamond earrings, a 9ct gold coated topaz and colourless gem pair of earrings with a further three pairs of gem-set earrings. Two with hallmarks for 9ct gold. Lengths 2.5 to 3.9cms. Total weight 12.1gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Gems vary in hue, tone and saturation, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • With fixed posts suitable for piecred ears.
  • Some earring backs deficient.
