Condition Report

A mid 20th century 18ct gold ruby brooch. The vari-textured ribbon, with ruby cluster and foliate highlights. Maker's marks for Cropp & Farr. Import marks for London, 1962. Length 4.6cms. Weight 7.8gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Where the hallmarks have been struck, they appear as dents to the front, at the base of the ribbon section.
  • Rubies are a well matched, deep, moderately purplish red hue.
