Condition Report

Two 18ct gold diamond rings. To include an early 20th century old-cut diamond five-stone ring, together with a mid 20th century single-cut diamond single-stone ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. One with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1910. Weight 5.1gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • Old-cut diamond vary in shape, but match in colour and clarity, with a slight yellow tint, and fairly obvious light and dark coloured inclusions.

  • The single-cut diamond shows a fairly large dark coloured inclusion visible to the naked-eye.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasions.
