Condition Report
A mid 19th century gold, enamel and gem-set snake necklace. The turquoise enamel snake head, with split pearl crest and garnet eyes, suspending a split pearl and blue enamel heart, to the fancy-link chain. Length 43cms. Weight 16.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Soft solder visible to the clasp.
- Enamel to snake head has been repaired and has discoloured, with minor chips.
- Heart would have had locket reverse, now deficient.
- Split pearls with pearly lustre, minor damage to nacre.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Length of snake head 3.6cms.
