Condition Report

ROLEX - a lady's Oyster Perpetual Datejust bracelet watch. Circa 1978. 18ct yellow gold case with fluted bezel. Reference 6917, serial 5505679. Signed automatic calibre 2030. White dial with Roman numeral hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed 18ct yellow gold Jubilee bracelet with Oysterclasp. 25mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. There are some small spots of discolouration visible across the dial.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint. Hands show rust.
  • Glass has scratches and marks. There is a large scratch visible at 9 o'clock that runs to the centre of the glass.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. There is moderate to heavy tarnishing visible to the sides of the case especially, and the bezel. There is moderate to heavy tarnishing visible to the sides of the case especially, and the bezel.
  • Crown screws down and has noticeable scratches and dinting. There are some heavy chips to the surface of the crown.
  • Bracelet has scratches and signs of stretching and twisting to links. The bracelet shows heavy tarnishing to every link.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Clasp shows very heavy scratches and there is a white substance covering the coronet.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 16cm including case.
