Condition Report

An 18ct gold emerald and diamond cluster ring. The circular-cut diamond, within a circular-shape emerald and brilliant-cut diamond highlight surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct, principal diamond estimated H-I colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1984. Ring size R. Weight 4.2gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Emeralds medium-dark green, good saturation, with profuse inclusions that affect the passage of light through the stone.

  • Emerald inclusions are surface reaching and have associated hairline fissures.
  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
