Condition Report

A Tahitian cultured pearl single-strand necklace. Comprising a graduated series of thirty-five Tahitian cultured pearls, measuring 12.7 to 10.4mms, with scattered brilliant-cut diamond-set 18ct gold spherical clasp. Hallmarks for London. Length 47cms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Tahitian cultured pearls vary in colour and size, some have minor blisters and blemishes.

  • Cultured pearls vary with silvery grey and dark grey body colours.

  • Various cultured pearls have purple overtones, some have green overtones and others a brownish tint.

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen scattered within the diamonds under magnification.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
