Condition Report

An 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring. The oval-shape ruby, with brilliant-cut diamond surround and sides. Total diamond weight 0.49ct, stamped to band. Hallmarks for London, 2015. Ring size M. Weight 5.7gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Few surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds bright and well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Mostly small, light inclusions.
  • Ruby is a slightly dark, deep red hue. Profuse inclusions somewhat affecting the transit of light through the gem.
  • Estimated dimensions of ruby 9.2 by 7.2 by vrey approximately 4.5mms. Depth measurement is restricted by setting.
