A late 19th century locket and later 9ct gold chain.

Condition Report

A late 19th century locket and later 9ct gold chain. The curb-link chain suspending a shield-shape locket, with a vertical foliate blue enamel band to the centre, engraved to either side concealing a hinged compartment with an oval-shape vacant photo panel within. Chain with import mark for Birmingham, 1992. Length 44cms. Weight 8.5gms.

Purchasing information
    The condition of this lot is fair, with tarnish to both sides and surface scratches to the metal in keeping with age and wear. The chain is later added. There are some areas of tarnish and discolouration to the locket. The glass to one side of the internal photograph panel is cracked through the centre. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
