Condition Report

A pair of early 20th century lorgnettes and a late 19th century turquoise and chalcedony brooch. The lorgnettes with plain handle and engraved nose-piece, with spring release to the handle, together with a brooch of oval outline, the chalcedony panel with applied leaf design, turquoise-set flowers and a floral and foliate border. Lengths 5.3 to 10.4cms. Weight 43.1gms.

Purchasing information
    The overall condition of the lot is fair, with surface scratches, tarnish and dints to the metal in keeping with general wear. The glass to the lorgnettes is scratched from general use. There is wear and discolouration to the metal to the brooch and lorgnettes in keeping with age.
