Five cameo brooches.

Condition Report

Five cameo brooches. All of oval outline, one carved to depict St. George slaying the dragon within a scrolling agate surround, together with a cameo depicting doves feeding from a bowl with applied scrolling detail to the mount. Lengths 5 to 6.7cms.

Purchasing information
    Overall fair condition, with moderate to heavy surface scratches and tarnishing throughout. There is adhesive visible beneath and around some of the agate pieces, clasp missing to this cameo. the St. George cameo is worn and detail has been lost to the carving. All brooch pins are most likely replacements. Soft solder can be seen to the reverse of the brooch depicting the goddess of night. The brooch depicting a female in profile to the fancy surround, this has two cracks running the length of the cameo.
