Condition Report

Two early 20th century gold, gem-set bar brooches. To include a 15ct gold pink sapphire knot brooch, together with a 14ct gold sapphire and split pearl brooch, deficient pin. Lengths 4.4 and 4.2cms. Total weight 5.6gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Sapphire brooch with pin deficient and file mark to the reverse.
  • Some shallow dents.
  • Pin dented.
  • Sapphires are a light medium pink and medium deep blue. Some colour zoning. Typical inclusions.
