Condition Report

A pair of 18ct gold diamond and amethyst earrings. Each designed as a pear-shape carved amethyst bead, with a brilliant-cut diamond bow surmount. Import marks for London, 1996. Length 3.2cms.

  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One has localised discolouration to the bow surmount.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Amethysts in good condition with some abrasion to the surface. Typical clarity and visible inclusions.

  • One amethyst has a small chip next to the top drill hole.
  • With fixed posts for pierced ears.
