Condition Report

A mid Victorian gold garnet bracelet. Designed as a graduated oval garnet cabochon line, with scrolling surround, to the openwork scroll and fleur-de-lis chain. Length 18.5cms. Weight 25.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and moderate dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Some claws worn.
  • Comprised of similarly aged antique component parts.
  • Push-piece clasp is double ended.
  • Garnets are a dark brown red, well saturated, with typical inclusions.

  • Stones in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
