Condition Report

A ruby and turquoise brooch. Of floral design, comprising a series of turquoise cabochon, polished and rope-twist cascading lines, gathered by a turquoise cabochon and ruby cluster. Length 4.6cms. Weight 20.7gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Replacement pin.
  • Rubies medium purplish-red, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity.
  • Turquoise lines are a medium blue, well matched and turquoise in cluster is a green colour.
  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Width 3.5cms.
  • Stamped 18ct.
