Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold paste and split pearl pendant. Of openwork design, the oval-shape blue paste, within a scrolling split pearl surround, to the circular-shape blue paste drop, suspended from trace-link chain. Length of pendant 5cms. Length of chain 40cms. Total weight 3.2gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Split pearls are a creamy yellow, with rose and olive overtones. Nacre damage can be seen to some.
  • Chain has a replacement clasp.

  • Stamped 9ct to pendant.
