Condition Report

GIRARD-PERREGAUX - a gentleman's Ferrari chronograph wrist watch retailed by Asprey. Stainless steel case. Reference 8020. Signed automatic calibre 2280-681 with quick date set. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three, six and nine, date aperture between four and five. Fitted to a signed brown crocodile strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 38mm. Box and papers.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but the hour counter has not been tested due to time constraints.
  • Movement appears to be in a generally good condition with little sign of previous intervention when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show small marks when viewed under a x4 loupe.
  • Glass has small scratches.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and some small dints.
  • Crown and pushers have light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot comes with a box and papers dated 18.6.97. Box is in poor condition.
