A composite set of Maltese silver tablespoons.

Condition Report

A part set of four Maltese silver table spoons, each of Fiddle pattern, marked 1855 alongside the Maltese fineness standard mark and a further mark attributed to Geraldo Pace, length measuring 7 6/8 inches (19.8 cm). Together with two further Maltese silver tablespoons, each of Fiddle pattern, one marked 1851 alongside the Roman fineness standard mark and a further mark attributed to Geraldo Pace, the other marked with the Maltese cross and 'PACE' alongside further assay marks. Gross weight 10.1 ozt (315 grams).

Purchasing information
    In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor tarnish stains to the back of the stems. The spoon marked 'PACE' alongside the Maltese cross is also marked with the number 9 in a circular cartouche alongside a further indistinct mark.
