ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Explorer bracelet watch. Circa 1966. Stainless steel case. Reference 1016, serial 1923589. Signed automatic calibre 1570. Black dial with luminous baton hour markers, luminous Arabic numeral three, six and nine. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 35mm. Purchasing information- Movement is currently functioning.
- Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
- Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial is a later service dial and is not the dial that would have come with this watch originally.
- Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
- Glass has scratches and marks.
- Case shows light scratches and marks.
- Crown screws down and has light scratches and marking.
- Bracelet has scratches and some signs of stretching to links. Bracelet is probably a later replacement dating to circa 1983.
- Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marks.
- Bracelet measures approximately 17cm including case.
This lot does not come with box or papers.
