Condition Report

An 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. The cushion-shape ruby, with brilliant-cut diamond surround and textured shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct, H-I colour, SI clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1978. Ring size S. Weight 7.6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of resize, pitting marks are visible.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Ruby is a medium orangeish red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical crystal inclusions.

  • Ruby is in fairly good condition with some noticeable surface abrasions to the table and crown facets, also a nick on the girdle.

  • Ruby estimated dimensions 6.5 by 5.5 by 3mms.
  • Length of ring head 1.5cms.
  • Stamped 750.
