Condition Report

A Chinese famille rose white ground porcelain tea bowl with cover and saucer, the bowl exterior decorated with dragon and phoenix chasing a flaming pearl, amidst plumes of smoke and fire, with cloud and thunder pattern and stylised wave border to rim and foot, the cover and saucer with conforming design, six character Guangxu mark to bowl base and cover handle, bowl 4.25" (10.5cm) diameter, 2.5" (6.5cm) high.

Purchasing information
    Fair condition, with some signs of wear typical of age and use, including surface scratches, rubbing and wear to design. Some typical small production flaws. Base foot of bowl with two small nicks. Cover does not sit flush to bowl but is believed to be original.
