Condition Report
Two 15ct gold ruby and synthetic ruby brooches. To include a late Victorian ruby and diamond marquise-shape brooch with raised floral detail, together with an early 20th century ruby and synthetic ruby scrolling brooch. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1891 and Chester, 1912. Lengths 4 and 4.4cms. Weight 6.6gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Both have back metal pins.
- Some settings appear damaged and would need to be secured
- Areas of discolouration to the brooches in places.
- Some replacement synthetic gemstones.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.
