Condition Report

A mid 20th century diamond and cultured pearl choker. Of openwork design, the vari-cut diamond geometric panel, to the cultured pearl four-row sides with diamond bar spacers and clasp and diamond rondelle diagonal spacers. Estimated total diamond weight 9 to 10cts, H-J colour, VS2-P1 clarity. Length 30cms. Total weight 109.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • The central panel is detachable from the necklace, with a hinged loop but no replacement fittings.
  • Estimated dimensions of the panel 3.3 by 3.3cms.
  • Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Cultured pearls are well matched with cream hue, rose and green overtones. Good lustre. Typical, mostly small surface blemishes.
  • Estimated diamter of cultured pearls 7.4mms.
  • There are 141 cultured pearls in total.
