Condition Report

An early 20th century diamond brooch. Of foliate design, the old-cut diamond, with similarly-cut diamond trefoil radiating surround and collet terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 1.75 to 2cts, principal diamond estimated J-K colour, P1 clarity. Diameter 3.8cms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Brooch has detachable surmount.
  • Brooch pin is slightly bent but still fastens correctly.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Principal diamond draws slightly more of a colour tint than the others.
