A late Victorian gold garnet brooch. The oval garnet cabochon, with bead and rope-twist surrounds, to the glazed panel reverse. Length 4cms. Weight 19.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Brooch pin is believed to be a later replacement.
- Garnet is a deep red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Garnet is in good condition with minor surface abrasions.
- Garnet cabochon dimensions 22 by 16mms.
