Condition Report

A tourmaline and diamond cluster pendant. The rectangular-shape pink tourmaline, with brilliant-cut diamond scalloped surround, suspended from a similarly-cut diamond tapered surmount and trace-link chain. Estimated dimensions of tourmaline 14 by 10.5 by 6.2mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Length of pendant 2.9cms. Length of chain 40.5cms. Weight 8.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds fairly bright. Some possibly replacements.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Tourmaline is a bright medium pink, fairly well saturated, with fair to good clarity and typical inclusions.
  • Tourmaline in good to fair condition with some light abrasion and minor nibbles to the facet edges.

  • There is a surface reaching fissure running through the pavilion of the stone, visible without magnification.

  • Stamped 750 to chain clasp. Pendant un-marked.
