A mid 20th century diamond and sapphire bracelet.

Description

Condition Report

A mid 20th century diamond and sapphire bracelet. Of geometric design, comprising a vari-cut diamond line, with calibre-cut sapphire line sides and vari-cut diamond and pierced chevron border. Two sapphires deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 4.50 to 5cts. Length 16.2cms. Weight 35.2gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Evidence of repair to the back of some panels. Some areas worn.
  • Two sapphires deficient.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamond cuts include old, single and brilliant. Some are replacements.
  • Sapphires in fair to good condition with light to moderate abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Some chipped. Some are replacements with surrounding glue residue.
