A pair of early 20th century pearl and diamond earrings.

Condition Report

A pair of early 20th century pearl and diamond earrings. Each designed as a pearl, suspended from an elongated trace-link chain, with circular-cut diamond kite-shape spacer and single-cut diamond accent fleur-de-lis surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Foreign marks. Length 5cms. Weight 3.2gms. Pearls untested.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Pearls untested for natural origin.
  • Pearls are a fairly well matched cream and slightly peachy cream hue. Good lustre. Slightly uneven surface.
  • Estimated dimensions of pearls 9.6 by 7.9mms and 9.4 by 7.8mms.
  • Unusual upwards hook fittings for pierced ears.
  • Hook fittings with marks, slightly rubbed, believed maker's mark and 18k stamp, possibly Scandinavian marks.
