Condition Report

Four gem-set dress rings. To include a 1980s 9ct gold opal cabochon single-stone ring, a 9ct gold opal cabochon and red gem cluster ring, together with two further gem-set rings. Two with hallmarks for 9ct gold. Total weight 9.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Bands are all slightly out of shape.
  • Split pearl cluster ring band shows evidence of resize / repair, solder lines visible.
  • Bands with localized scratches and file marks, some with blemishes.
  • Opals, with good play of colour, flashes in a range of hues, with some surface scratches.
  • All stones in fairly good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the surface and facet edges.

  • Ring sizes O, Q, Q, and G.

  • Two stamped 375.
