Condition Report

A pair of emerald, cultured pearl and diamond earrings. Each designed as a cultured pearl, measuring 10mms, with brilliant-cut diamond crescent and oval emerald cabochon surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 2.8cms. Weight 7.2gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamond fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Emeralds are medium green, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions, some of which may be surface reaching.

  • Emeralds in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Cultured pearls are a creamy-white colour, with rose and greenish overtones, in fairly good condition with some cracks and chips to the surface.
  • Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
  • With fixed posts for pierced ears.

  • Earring backer stamped 750.
