An 18ct gold black opal and diamond heart pendant. The black opal cabochon, with brilliant-cut diamond surround, suspended from an old and brilliant-cut diamond tapered surmount and trace-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.90ct. Hallmarks for London, 1981. Length of pendant 2.3cms. Length of chain 36cms. Weight 6.6gms. With fitted Tessier case.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Opal has a dark blueish-grey body colour, with good play of colour, predominantly red and blue flashes, some slight dead areas to sides.
- Opal has some glue residue to reverse.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Chain with import marks for Birmingham.
