Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Band shows evidence of repair/ resize, solder lines and pitting marks visible, slightly out of shape.
- Outer band with inscription 'in memory of' possibly a later addition to the ring.
- Personal engraving to reverse of ring head reads 'Charlotte Sarah Raikes died 31 Mar 1823 aged 23'.
- Garnet is a medium deep purplish-pink, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Garnet is in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the surface.
- Split pearls are fairly well matched, creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones, in fairly good condition with minor abrasions..
- Length of ring head 1.3cms.
