A late Georgian 9ct gold turquoise and diamond ring. Of openwork design, the graduated circular turquoise cabochon line, with rose-cut diamond surround and scrolling sides. Ring size K1/2. Weight 2.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Band slightly out of shape.
- Band with evidence of repair/resize, solder line and pitting marks visible.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.
- Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Turquoise are fairly well matched, greenish-blue colours.
- Turquoise are in good to fair condition with some minor abrasions, small nicks and surface scratches.
- Length of ring head 0.8cm.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
